SILVER SCREEN- DEMO​

I recorded a Dixieland-style song, Silver Screen (Rusty Pictures) and it was a combination of two guitars, bass, drums, three brass players and a clarinet. the song is my ode to the nostalgic past with the stars of black and white films, jazz and blues seen through the eyes of a child. I sang and it was a challenging recording, learning how best to aim microphones towards the instruments and vocals as well as sound mixing afterward. I was really happy to have taken the challenge on and it gave me a clearer view of studio work, especially as I was recording all live instruments.
